Majin's comment: I love Haruhi! She has such an intrigueing and interesting character. When I first watched the series I decided to cosplay her somewhen. For me it's a typical "I can identify with it" character, also I love the school uniform designs. It's a bit different from the usual uniform we get to see and I love those skirts. I've always wanted to cosplay a school uniform anyway, it's obligatory *laughs* Kay was forced to cosplay with me and she decided to do Yuki. I think it fits her perfectly because she is just as cute and her face fits Yukis so much. At first we didn't find any decent Yuki wig, so Kayleigh tried her best at dying a wig herself. It turned out nicely, but not as she wanted it to be. Later on we found another wig on ebay and ordered it. It fit her perfectly and looks so so so much better than the old one. This color suits Kay so much!
The costumes were all sewn by me, also the ones our friends are wearing in group shots (Asakura, Kyons jacket and the ties). Guest cosplayers featured at JapanDay were my fellow students from university CJAnti as Kyon, DokuChan as Ryoko Asakura and CJAnti's girlfriend weazle as Koizumi Itsuki.
